Wallzee ("we", "our", "us") provides a community-based wallpaper platform where users can browse, upload, and share wallpapers, including image wallpapers, live wallpapers (videos), and double wallpapers.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create or use an account, we may collect:
- Username
- Email address
- Password (stored securely using industry-standard hashing; never stored in plain text)
- Profile details you choose to provide (such as display name, bio, avatar, or social links)
You may browse Wallzee without creating an account. An account is required for uploads and community features.
1.2 Sign-In Information
If you choose to sign in using Google Sign-In, we receive basic account information provided by Google (such as your email address and profile identifier) for authentication purposes.
1.3 User-Generated Content (UGC)
If you upload content, we collect:
- Uploaded files (images and videos)
- Content metadata (title, tags, category, description)
- Moderation status (pending, approved, rejected, removed)
- Engagement data related to your content (such as views, downloads, sets, impressions, and creator metrics where applicable)
Approved content may be publicly visible in the app.
1.4 Usage, Device, and Diagnostic Data
We collect technical and usage information, including:
- Device model, operating system version, app version
- App interaction events (screens viewed, actions taken)
- Analytics data, crash reports, and performance monitoring data collected automatically to improve app stability, reliability, and performance
- IP address and network data, processed solely for security, abuse prevention, fraud detection, and system integrity (not used for advertising analytics)
1.5 Advertising Data
When ads are shown, Google AdMob may collect advertising-related data (such as device or advertising identifiers and ad interaction signals) to serve and measure ads, subject to applicable law and user consent.
1.6 Notifications
If notifications are enabled, we process push notification tokens and delivery metadata in order to send app and service notifications.
1.7 Safety and Moderation Data
To maintain a safe community, we process:
- Content reports
- Block and unblock actions
- Moderation decisions and enforcement records
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Authenticate users and secure access
- Host, display, and distribute user-uploaded content
- Enable social and community features (follow, share profiles, block/report)
- Measure content performance and creator engagement

- Improve app stability, performance, and reliability

4. Advertising and Consent
Wallzee uses Google AdMob to display ads.
In regions where required (such as the EEA, UK, or Switzerland), we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect and manage user consent for ad serving.
Depending on your location and consent:
- Ads may be personalized, non-personalized, or limited
- Ads are not requested or shown before consent is resolved, where required by law
- Consent choices may be updated through available consent management options provided by Google.
5. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal data in the traditional sense.
We may share information with:
- Service providers and processors (hosting, analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, notifications, advertising)
- Google services integrated into the app (such as Firebase, AdMob, Google Sign-In, and Play services)
- Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security
- Other users or the public for information you intentionally make public (such as your profile or uploaded content)
6. Device Storage Access
On devices running Android 9 (API level 28) or lower, Wallzee may request limited device storage access only to save wallpapers to your device when you choose to download or apply them.
On newer versions of Android, Wallzee uses Android's system photo picker and scoped storage and does not request broad access to your photos or videos.
7. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary for:
- Providing the Service
- Security and fraud prevention
- Legal, tax, accounting, or compliance obligations
- Legitimate business records
When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized.
8. Account and Data Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by:
- Using in-app deletion options (where available)
- Visiting: https://wallzeeapp.com/account-delete
- Emailing contactwallzee@gmail.com with the subject "Delete Account"
We may verify your identity before processing deletion requests.
When an account is deleted:
- The account is deactivated
- Uploaded content is removed from public view
- Media files are quarantined and typically permanently deleted within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons
9. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Request data portability
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

10. Children's Privacy
Wallzee is not intended for children under 13 (or a higher minimum age where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the applicable minimum age. If such data is identified, it will be deleted.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
12. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we apply appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.
13. Third-Party Services
Wallzee integrates third-party services (such as Google AdMob, Firebase, and Google Sign-In) that process data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies.
